In DITCS101 are introduced to HTML5, CSS3, C++, PHP, Python and Databases.
During NCEA level 1, they will be required to do internal assessments such as:
- Building and coding a webpage with HTML and CSS
- Making forms with working functions like 'AutoSum'
- Making a simple number guessing game using Python
Even though students are introduced to other things such as C++ and PHP,
they arn't required to code with them.
These types of coding are more advanced, you might expect to see them appear
again in NCEA level 3 when students are more advanced, and have knowledge on
how to intergrate them in their webpages.
